You Know Exactly What’s in It
New Zealand has some of the most stringent food safety standards in the world — and that extends to pet food. When we source from local boutique producers, we can look them in the eye (sometimes literally, during farm visits), ask exactly what goes into their products, and feel genuinely confident about what we’re putting in your pet’s paws.
Imported treats, however well-intentioned, often travel through multiple supply chains with limited traceability. We’re not about that — at least not for the treats and foods.
New Zealand Ingredients Are Genuinely Extraordinary
New Zealand’s clean environment, high animal welfare standards, and world-class agricultural sector produce ingredients that are exceptional. Cherries from Oamaru. Possum protein from the North Island. Bone broth brewed in Christchurch. Popcorn from Wellington. These aren’t ingredients you’ll find in any supermarket pet treat.
And the Toys?
We’re proud to say all our treats and foods are NZ-made — but we’ll be upfront: some of the toys and accessories in our boxes are sourced from overseas. Every item, wherever it comes from, is held to the same rigorous standard. We don’t include anything we wouldn’t be happy to give our own pets.
